No bright light so can record without beaming lights coming on. Love the smartpic feature too which identifies face, cars etc. Setting up the Brena CCTV system was a breeze. It comes with a detailed guide, the plug-and-play setup ensured the cameras running in minutes. No expert guru needed I can confirm. Brena’s customer service team deserves special mention. They’re responsive (within hours), knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful in resolving any issues or answering questions. I was trying to figure out how and which cameras to use and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Cannot recommend them highly enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars from me.

Highly recommended! I ordered this system as a replacement for one I'd had for a few years as the image quality had deteriorated. I felt an upgrade was needed. The system was delivered the next day. With a price tag of £150, which I thought for a 5mp system with 4 cameras was an excellent price. I installed the system myself (I'm not a CCTV engineer) because I decided to remove all of the cables from my old system so that the entire system was renewed, it took me 2 days to complete. The CCTV system has a built in hard drive for storage, which with all 4 cameras recording 24/7 the DVR hard drive has enough memory to record all 4 camera feeds for over 2 weeks before needing to overwrite previous recordings (which it does automatically) The images are crisp & clear. The night vision, although not in colour, is of a quality that you can still make out visual features. The system was a breeze to set-up. I have the DVR connected to a television, I also have the entire system connected to my Samsung phone. The connection was easy to complete. It is achieved by downloading the XMEYE or XMEYE PRO app. This means I can receive notifications from the system direct to my phone, as it is connected to my WIFI it enables me to view my system any time from anywhere. I can view previous events, change settings or whatever, all through the app. The app can sometimes be temperamental, in the it sometimes shows the system being online. Obviously the app is not made nor controlled by Brena, so it is not a reflection on the CCTV system, just the app. The may well be other apps that could be used but in my honest opinion, despite the connection issues, as they are a rare occurrence I would still give the app 8/10. Having spent 20 years in the military, this CCTV system is by far the best I have ever used. For image quality, ease of setup & functionality. I had an issue with 1 camera showing a hazy picture after installing everything. I contacted Brena via email, they replied within an hour to confirm purchase details etc. Once done I was sent a replacement camera (along with a remote controlled RGB light string as a free gift) which was nice. I have contacted Brena a few times regarding product availability for future purchases, I have always received a speedy reply. Customer service has easily scored at 12/10. I can't recommend this system enough. You will not be disappointed. It is well worth the money. So much so, I intend to purchase 2 compatible Brena PTZ cameras when they become available, to expand my system. Thanks Brena, your system & customer service is top notch!

The media could not be loaded. This CCTV camera system is fantastic! It comes with all the accessories needed for installation and is super easy to set up. The daytime image quality is impressive, but what really sets this system apart is the night vision capability. I’ve installed a camera in my garden, and even at night, the footage is crystal clear. I can see everything in perfect detail, giving me complete peace of mind. If you want a reliable, high-quality security camera system with outstanding night vision, this is the one to choose.

I don't write many reviews but I've been so impressed with this cctv system. The design and quality from the packaging and user manual to the product itself is outstanding. The cameras look and feel high quality which I've mounted under the soffits. I found them very easy to fit and adjust to get the right coverage. The daytime and also nighttime image from them is very clear. The whole system was very easy to install and set up (love the smart picture option which if you want displays a strip of recent faces and vehicles down the right hand side). Very easy navigating the menus and setting up your desired options. After installation it look just a few extra minutes to load the app and it's now linked to my mobile. Everything I needed was in the box (I already had a monitor and basic DIY tools) even comes with a key ring and USB stick. Communication with the customer support is fast and friendly (I purchased 2 extra cameras). All this and what a great price too, really impressed.

I ordered this system to replace a very old Samsung CCTV which had suddenly stopped sending email alerts. The new system similarly has the same issue. Regretfully I returned it as it was not suitable for my own purposes. Brena support tried to help and were helpful and courteous. Having said all that, the installation was very easy and also communicating with my iphone for showing the cameras was also very easy to set up. Also there is an application calle VMS which allows remote control of the box from one's pc. That program took a little more fiddling around and re-reading the install instructions before it worked. The performance of the graphics was far superior to what I previously had. The GUI interface offered all that I needed. If you do not need email alerts then it is a competitively priced package.
